I recently responded to a thread on compressors and I realized that I have never posted on this forum. To introduce myself, I'm a 62 year old retiree from the auto manufacturing industry. I am an avid hot rodder and I really enjoy custom fabrication.
My wife and I built our garage 28 years ago and we have enjoyed having a great place to work all these years. It's 30x60 with a 30x30 second level, and a 10x15 solar room on the south side. My wife's portion of the shop is 15x30 with the 10x15 solar room attached to it.
Since retirement, I've entertained the idea of building a large pole building that could house my travel trailer and still have enough room for a nice shop and a really nice apartment inside. Sort of a launching pad for an almost full time camper.
