Greetings from Southern VA

Good day all. Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself. I recently acquired some antique tools from CL and have been actively searching around OWWM and vintage machines. A few members cross post between GJ and those sites so that led me here.

I'm pretty active on some jeep forums so I'm not new to forums, just new to this one. I've been browsing around for a few weeks and finally pulled the trigger to join so I could view some attachments. Everything seems relatively organized and there's some really great resources and active members so I look forward to working with everyone.

Currently, I'm in the middle of a Craftsman drill press restoration. My first restoration. I will be starting a thread once I get a bit further along. I also have a Craftsman 12" bandsaw and a Craftsman 6" jointer. I don't have serial numbers as I type this, as I'm sure someone will ask.

What's GJ's preference for posting pictures? Photobucket, direct attachment? I'd like to post some antique tool **** as everyone likes tool pics!

Eric: i used to use PB for pictures, but their system or methods changed and i found it easier just to attach/download pictures from my laptop using the paperclip just above where we write our posts. sort of like attaching a pic to an email. ask questions if you need any help or start posting up some of your pics of your stuff and we'll sit back and enjoy.

welcome to the group and i think you'll like it here if you find the threads where a lot of positive postings are posted. there's a ton of information and a lot of friendly helpful members which i'm guessing you will be one of those too.
