I noticed this set yesterday. Anybody have any experiences with it?

I bought one from a local discounter for $9.99 a few years ago. If you want to flare copper it would be OK, luckily I bought it for my house to use for the furnace copper lines. I have a KD that I used for 20 years to make brake lines and I thought the grip set was a POS.

That's about what I expected to hear. At some point I need a flaring tool to redo the brake lines on my boat trailer, but I'll wait and buy a higher quality one. Thanks

Gone Boating. I ended up going with Eastwood's brake flaring tool for my brake line project. It is expensive, but makes creating great flares so simple. It took along time to talk myself into it, but now I do not know why I waited.

If you take your time the handheld ones work well, just get a decent one otherwise the lines don't fit tight and the flare won't come out like it is supposed to.
