I plan to put my garage panel on an inside wall. Just wondering if putting ground rods inside is a reasonable thing to do. I have a section of interior wall that would allow the two rods to be spaced the required distance. Not sure if I also need to tie to the foundation rebar as well. Do I need to put an access panel to be able to inspect the connections? The ground under the building may be drier than outside so the ground may be poor. It's not that far to the edge of the building - about 12' - so putting them outside isn't a big deal. I have about a 50' between buildings and was planning to run conduit even though MHF can be direct buried. I suppose I could just run conduit until I get outside the foundations.
