Almost done hooking power up to my shed, and need to put in the ground rods. I'm going to put in 2 6' apart, but not sure what type of wire to use to connect from the panel to the 2 rods. I know it needs to be a continuous piece of wire, and will get the appropriate clamps.
The shed is being fed with 4 ga aluminum with a 60amp breaker. for the ground wire to the rods, what size is required? and does it have to be bare solid wire, or can i use stranded wire (type thw)? i've got some #6 type thw copper wire sitting around, but if that won't work, I can get the bare solid wire.
