How do you all hang the long fluorescent light fixtures in your steel buildings? Do you screw directly to the perlins? Hang them from chains? Does anyone make a clamp that will allow you to attach to the steel frame without drilling?

Thanks,
Tom

We use jack chain and v-hooks. We screw into the z-channel to hold the chain. They do make hooks specifically for this though, an example would be a Caddy 122 clip.

Your best bet is to look through the Caddy/Erico catalog online. Any decent electrical supply house should carry Caddy.

Thanks guys, that is exactly what I was looking for. The beam clamps would work as well but seem to be overkill for the intended use. The truck with my building will be here the 17th of this month, and I am ecstatic.
