As you have heard in the other thread on this topic, metal cutting blades are for metal cutting saws, which turn slower. Just because this blade would fit on the hercules saw, doesn't mean it's intended for use on the saw

That would make perfect sense if Harbor Freight offered a metal cutting saw that turned at 3500 rpm.

They also offer 10, 12, and 14 inch metal cutting cut-off saw blades, and they stipulate the maximum rated RPM right in the description, but they don't sell dry cut saws. Do you think maybe they're just trying to sell blades?

It isn't as if the blade is going to explode if it's installed on the 5800 RPM saw. 3500 RPM is the ideal speed for a 7-1/4, carbide-toothed blade cutting steel.
