In my area, these appear to be a little easier to get towards the middle of January 2026:

That said, they were in stock for 3-4 days before selling out again. This is better than the same day sell out before.

I picked up a third one this week as there was stock at a store I went to. It was the only one in a 50 mile radius that had one. When I was checking out the cashier said”Oh, they must have came in on the truck. They’ll be gone by tomorrow.”

I use one regularly in my work truck to stick tools as I unload. Working in different locations on different stuff requires different tools not in my base bag. I chuck stuff in a canvas bag and then stick tools to the mat on the wall as I unload before I put stuff away.

They are pretty nice. The one I just got was the only one I paid full price for but you have to strike the iron when it's hot. They are hardly ever on the shelves.

Eleven of 'em on the pegboard at the store in Santa Fe yesterday. Looks like the supply chain is catching up with their (deserved) popularity.

This item has never been in stock at this location every time I've checked either on the phone or online.

One of my stores was like that. Makes you wonder about the employees buying them up and reselling.

The store nearest to me was out in about 72 hours and they had at least 13 the same day I saw them go as available.

🤷🏻‍♂️

I was in the HF in Dayville, CT, today, and they had a very good supply. The manager told me they had cases of them in the storeroom, and 2 end caps were filled with them. I picked up 2, one to try and the other, well, I don't know what I will do with it. I might give it to a friend.

I can't wait to find a use for them, they're a solution waiting for a problem.
The best use i have found for mine is car interior bolts and screws. My magnetic trays are always dirty with nonsense and this mat is typically clean. I dont use the mat for engine and suspension bolts, i use trays for those nasty things. I lay the mat on the floor and everything goes on there, Simple, easy, no nasty mess or lost screws!

I’ll warn you guys either stick this to something metal or lay it down flat. I had one of these leaning on its side against a piece of wood and it expanded and the magnets came loose inside of it.

Also they are still difficult to find. I was gonna attempt to warranty it and no stores in my area have it.

A friend had some magnets shift inside his, too. And once some of those strong magnets stack like checkers inside rhe sewn mat, they ain’t being repositioned back where they were.

He was planning to warranty his. I’ll have to check if he’s done gotten a replacement.
