Hearing and cooling rec room question

Hey would like some advice. Im building a 40 by 50 polebarn and having a 40 by 15 rec room in it. I need some advice on how to heat and cool just the rec room. Maybe a minisplit or can i go with something smaller amd cheaper. I live in ne oklahoma. As far as insulation probably doimg 1 cc foam in the pole barn. Thanks for any help.

Window unit for a/c and electric baseboard is about as simple as it gets..
Minisplit will be more efficient, quieter and better looking.

My entire 54x72x18 shop is cooled to a comfortable working level with a little 6k BTU window AC. It works well and was $170. I debated doing a mini split but I figured I could buy a new window unit every year for quite a while before it got to be more expensive than a mini split.

Agreed with the electric baseboard heater. Simple and cheap to install. If it's insulated well it won't use all that much electricity either.
