Two issues and I'm hoping someone can help-
1. I bought a Modine Hot Dawg for my new shop and was wondering how tough this thing will be to put in myself? I have a gas connection there and power for the fan, biggest concern is the vent pipe. Should it go through the roof, or through the side? If it goes through the side, how do I preserve the stucco on the outside? What's the best way to attach to the ceiling?
2. In my L-shaped 4 car garage (two cars side by side and two cars around the corner in tandem), I insulated this week to R-34 in the ceiling (previously none) and will have new insulated doors put in soon. There is a gas connection at the ceiling in the side by side part of the garage. What type of heater would work best here for raising the temp 15-25 degrees or so in the winter and operate efficiently? I don't have power at the ceiling.
