Hello everybody.
I'm really enjoying checking out all the projects you guys got going on! Just wanted to say hi and thanks. I've recently moved into a place with a nice sized garage and I'm just starting to set it up. I'll save the questions until I've had more time to research how you guys have done things on the forum.
A little about myself. I'm a helicopter crew chief in the USAF. Been doing it for about 16yrs now. Spent the last 10yrs in England trying to work out of a rediculously tiny garage. When moving to Arizona it gave me the opportunity to finally go out and get what I wanted. The drive to work is a bit long but the slightly oversized (but still modest) garage is worth it.
I'm into slightly older BMW's. I have an E30 M3 that I'm building from the ground up using an unused brand new shell I found in a shed in Denmark back in 2002. It's a long term/high end build due to modest income. The project is probably just over the halfway mark now.
I also enjoy the mid 90's BMW 5 series. I've accumulated a lot of parts for this car over the years so I just stuck with it. They're easy to work on and can be made to perform very well.
And since every thread should have pictures, hear are a few.

My ex... I miss this car. It's a semi modified '94 BMW E34 530i wagon. This pic was taken shortly after it was finished. It went on a trip to the Nurburgring immediately and was quite the hoot!
And my last track car; an Italy/Portugal market only special 320is. Comes with a 2.0 liter version of the M3 engine (S14).
And a hot lap in the 320is at the Ring.
Anyway, thanks again for a great forum. I'm really looking forward to reading more about your projects and garage set ups.
