My name is Kevin.

My wife and I bought a house in 2013 that was built in 1974. It didn't have any repairs or updates since 1998. There is lots of exposed rotted wood, (soffits, fascia, etc). To buy the house, we had to use all of our available cash so we cannot hire contractors to fix the issues. I'm fairly handy with tools. I have saws, hammers, cordless drills, etc. I also got laid off in July. I am an electronics technician with 10 years experience.

I grew up in the Bellaire area, now live near Rice U. Since I retired, I spend most of my time in Brenham. I'm almost finished building a horse barn for my wife at our place here.
