I have been lurking on this site for a while now, found it while searching for restoration info for some old Craftsman tool boxes I have. Finally decided to sign up as I embark on my projects. My first is to bring back to life a Craftsman tool box my dad used to carry in the back of his Bronco, then will be to restore my grandfather's tool chest which he bought back before WWII when he was a mechanic for Greyhound. It still even has sockets and wrenches from before WWII in it. These are just some of my projects, I am also working on a '70 Mustang SportsRoof and and a '46 Ford pickup.

Welcome metal....you will need to post some pics of that box and some of those tools in the tools section.....there are some pretty advid tool guys over there....

Thanks to both of you for the welcome. I have been taking pictures of the restoration of the toolboxes as I go, i will be putting them up as I get closer to finishing them up.
