I have a Duracraft 5" vise that I have had for somewhere around 40 years and have used and severely abused it until the nut broke (while using a 7 pound sledge on the handle trying to force a bearing home). I know, a press is the way to go, but sometimes you just have to make due. At any rate, does anyone know where I can get a nut for it? I don't want to trash the vise because it is my go to vise for abuse when I need to get a bit forceful.
