Great site. Thought I should introduce myself. I am a fourth generation Montana rancher. My paid occupation is as a cardiopulmonary nurse, but I actively participate in operating our ranch with my father. It's too big for just him, not big enough for both of us, typical story here. Learned a variety of shop skills while growing up working on a variety of machinary, equipment and vehicles. Gas and diesel, hydraulics, welding (most recently aluminum), also a variety of other trade skills, electrical, plumbing and rough and finish carpentry. I was an apprentice carpenter for a time. Usually know just enough to get in over my head, but usually get through it. My shop is a 24x30 foot heated and insulated wood frame building. Full of cabinetry equipment. Table saw, joiner, band saw, radial arm saw, and benches. Still get alot of mech work done on the ramp, and plenty at the ranch
