Hello everyone, I'm out in the west part of sunny San Fernando valley. Love the site, a lot of great ideas I'm getting for my garage.
I have a standard attached 2-car garage. I have it arranged so that the left side is workbench and toolbox space, middle is a "bay" for cars and the right side is all my machine tools.
So far I've got a 25-gallon air compressor (good little Harbor Freighter) with the garage plumbed with lines, floor drill press, grinder on a stand, another grinder on a stand with wire wheel, 5-gallon solvent tank and of course the beer fridge! Lastly I have a space for an Eastman MIG welder that my dad and I share.
What I want next and will get soon is the Craftsman horizontal metal cutting bandsaw and the small welding table from Northern Tool. Next year I'm getting a Smithy combo lathe/mill machine.
Once my garage is cleaned up I'll post some pics. I'm in the middle of a few home improvement jobs and am also re-arranging and cleaning out my toolbox, since I just recently bought a side-chest.
