I joined this forum awhile ago but never got around to introducing myself. I'm an aircraft mechanic by profession and also tinker with just about anything that will fit in my home garage.
Before I joined I spent quite a bit of time on here reading and learning new things. I'd like to thank everyone for the help I've already received by reading your threads and for the help I know I'll be asking for in the future.

Welcome, what type of aircraft do you work on?

Thanks for the welcome everybody. I appreciate it. To answer the question of what aircraft I've worked on, I'll start at the beginning:

F14 Tomcat. A,B,A+ and D models. 4 years in the Navy.

YS-11 (turboprop freighter)
DC8
DC9
Boeing 767

I worked at Airborne Express/ABX Air for roughly 15 1/2 years. The YS 11 was retired after I had been there for about 5 years. The B767 was brought online in either 97 or 98 and I worked on those until May 2009.
The DC8 and DC9 I worked on from December 1993 until May of 2009.These were all freight carriers.

For the Last 2+ years I've worked on Embraer 145's,170's and 190's. All passenger planes.
