I came onto this forum looking for information about a Columbian anvil vise. Somehow I clicked on a link that was a video of a bus driver and a bus rider having an argument that turned into a physical confrontation. There is nothing after the fact that can change that. What absolutely is beyond my comprehension is how this forum allows the rah rah rah macho she deserves being hit, etc. What is wrong with you people???
Yes, I am a female and I assume this is mostly a male population which I think I should be able to feel safe but that's not the case. I have managed myself in a male dominated industry for many years and was appreciated by most of my customers. So why is this forum threatening? I can only say that the forum leaders allow such blatant misplaced 'freedom' of speech or think verbal abuse deserves a step up to physical abuse is a real big disappointment. Wow! you folks are really disappointing.
You see, I've been on this site before without having registered and the only reason I came back is because there is some really good information on this site. Then, pow, I see I landed in the environment that it's okay to hit a woman. Don't you realize how wrong that is? It isn't okay to hit anyone. Period. Be a bigger person and walk away from the fight. Cheering for 'she asked it' isn't bonding. It is ugly. Just plain ugly.
