Hi, I stumbled upon this great forum as I have just moved into a new townhouse that has a garage. Needless to say I am very excited as my former house was almost 100 years old located downtown with no off street parking. I have been reading many threads to get ideas on how to best address my new garage. It definitely has a different layout when compared to the more traditional types; it is a tandem style, it is somewhere around 11X35. It also houses the mechanical room so it is not a perfect rectangle.
I am looking forward to working on my car, but not anything hugely mechanical. I am pretty handy but cars seem a bit too complex for me to start tinkering with their mechanicals. I love to mountain bike and work on bikes, I have been a bike mechanic here and there over the years as my fun second job. My main goal is to create a workbench and pleasant environment to work on my bikes.
Oh, if anyone was wondering I live in a Saskatchewan city that rhymes with "fun"
