Hello All.....I have made a few posts but thought I would give an intro. My speed fix is done with a Honda CR500 MX bike, Snowmobiles is my winter fix, one of which is a custom made hillclimber that I built myself, & Road cycling (used to race when younger), & currently looking for a pickup or muscle car to fix/restore. There is also the Hunting, Guns, ect.

We have a 4 car garage that is 3 wide and the 3rd car is two deep. Just moved into this house 2 years ago.

Employment consists of a Manufactures Sales Representative for several Apparel and Footwear companies. I represent the manufacture to the retailer. Tony Lama Boots, Nocona Boots, Thorlo Socks, Walls Industries, Helly Hansen. I travel 4 western states and have alot of windshield time. My wife puts up with all the travel and has for almost 30 years. Kids have moved out of the house and its great!!!!!:bounce: By the way I used to work for Makita Power Tools for 8 years as a Sales Rep. I think I was the favorite guy in the neighborhood.

This is a great site, wish I had known about it sooner. I look forward to learning from all of you and hopefully will have a comment or two that will ad to the group.

Welcome to the board, Poltax!

What year is your CR500? Is it a Service Honda or an original? I wish I still had a monsterous 2 stroke - I run many classes and it would be cool as heck to show up at the gate on a 500cc 2-smoke (would have to be the 30+ or 35= class)!

My CR is a 2000. I got it off of my neighbor. His son in law has had it for the last few years. He road it 1/2 of the first year he got, then broke his leg on it. Then decided to stripe it down. I got it in pieces. Everything was there. I picked it up for $1200. I spent another $400 rebuild it. Its been a great ride. One of the best bikes I have every owned.
