Yes, I'm after the model number and cannot make it out.

Here's another hammer I'd like to know more about. Looks like it reads:
SEE-LECT
L.B.M 4050
8oz. U.S.A.

Here's one like your claw hammer. I did an image search using google for "Vintage Stanley hammer wood rubber grip" and this one showed up on Worthpoint.

I'm not finding anything for your See-Lect hammer.

Can’t read it, but looking here might help. The logo and rubber handle make it newer, so you can skip the 1930 etc.

Just looking in 1960, there are no hammers with wooden handles and the rubber grip. And none going back to 1940, skipping around. Also didn’t see any in 1969, so maybe just look newer first?

mm, maybe this one from 1971. RG 1 1/2, putting an age to Mintgrun’s answer
