Help me fix my Craftsman Air Compressor

So I've had this compressor for like 1.5 years. I noticed the ground prong was broken off but that didnt effect its performance.

Then it wouldnt start. Just makes the sound like in the video. Then blows a breaker.

I replaced the plug and it worked again. Now a week later it doesnt work again.

Can I fix this thing????

If the tank is empty, will it start is the first question... If no, then either the motor or the compressor is locked up. Time for more troubleshooting at that point.

So I took off the plastic cover and saw a fan blade ----- it wouldnt turn by hand. So I took a wrench and turned the shaft. Now it works fine.

I dont see any grease port, wondering if there's some way for me to prevent this binding in the future?

With out knowing what compressor you have, Is it a oil free or does it take compress oil in the crank case?
