Help with faucet ID, please.

Hi, all.

Hoping the brain trust here can ID this faucet. I haven't crawled underneath yet, but see no markings of any kind anywhere on the topside. I'm also puzzled about how to remove handles and replace faulty cartridges.

TIA for any advice.

no help on the maker, but I'd be looking for a set screw on the end or backside of the handles for removal .
if you've already done that , I guess I'm not much help

I've pretty thoroughly scrutinized everything topside, more than once, and can see no fasteners of any kind, and no decorative caps that could be hiding any set screws.

Anytime. Try an Ebay search of Miseno MNO641CP Elysa-V Widespread Bathroom Faucet. It should show one out of the box to give you an idea how to take it apart.

That does provide some visibility into how it goes together, although it's not clear to me how the Y hose mates to the three parts, or how it would be de-mated from them. It also has me contemplating ****-canning the entire assembly, as I'm not impressed with what I'm seeing, from an engineering standpoint. The push-pop drain on this thing is also jamming up, which contributes to my growing inclination to punt on it and replace with a conventional Moen or similar that's readily serviceable, unlike what appears to be the case with this trying-too-hard-to-be-cute POS.

I've looked at parts diagrams online & cannot see how it comes apart either.
I bet it's easy, once you figure it out !LOL
I wonder if the handles are press fit. maybe try a good yank up ?

I did try a good yank-up on each of the handles, to no avail. Looking at the photo on Ebay, I can see why that got me nowhere. And made me glad I didn't pull harder, as things would have gone badly if something had actually yielded.

Not entirely sure but the handle could be pressed on trapping the valve body and cartridge assembly to the escutcheon or the whole valve body could be threaded into the escutcheon from the bottom or some third way or forth way lol.

I think you'd have to removed one of the valves from the counter top to be sure.

Looking at an ebay photo of the parts, it appears that there's a threaded sleeve that spins over the valve body from below to secure each valve individually to the countertop. Which seems to indicate that disconnecting the supply and output hoses will also be required. I am very unimpressed with the design concept, and I think I've persuaded myself to drop the $ on a good Moen or equivalent, rather than trying to repair this POS. At least I now know how to remove the thing so that I can give it the burial that it deserves IMHO.

I avoid no name off breed faucets like a plague , get something that parts are available for, no big box store house brands either.
