Help with this delta/wye connection!

I'm looking at a new to me Queen City 3 phase grinder with (2) lights. It's a nine wire set up and is currently wired for high voltage. I think it's Y connected but not exactly sure?

Check for continuity between pairs and/or sets of terminals to determine which are the ends of the various windings. Once you think you have it figured out, test by connecting the terminals in series or parallel then measuring impedance across each pair of windings. The impedance should be the same across each set of windings and the higher voltage combination (series) will have twice the impedance of the lower voltage (parallel).

First thing is that the low voltage y connection in your book is wrong. Secondly to determine it you have a wye or delta motor all you need to do is separate all the connections. Use an ohm meter to determine if you have 3 sets of 3 wires (delta) or 3 sets of two wires plus 1 set of 3 (wye). Since your wires are labelled reconnecting will be simple using the proper connection diagram.
