I'm looking to buy Herbrand tool cataloges if you have them and want to sell them. I'm also interested in tool boards if you have them. Thanks:)

That kind of stuff is addicting, isn't it?

I'll keep an eye open for you. Woody73 knew of a Herbrand tool board in a shop near him. Shipping would have killed the deal for me, but maybe for you it would be a different story, since I think you are in the same state. This was months ago, maybe a half a year. But it might still be at the shop; these things are usually not in high demand.

Darrin,
I'm laying out those Herbrand, JC Penney, Penncraft, and None Better tools for your upcoming visit. Don't know if I have any Herbrand catalogs. But I do have very old wholesale tool catalogs with many brands, and some of them may have Herbrand sections in them.

I do have just ONE tool board. It is screen-printed metal, and small enough to sit on a counter. It is for Wiss brand tin snips. I'll post a photo. It's in really nice shape, but like Bull said...tool boards are not expensive...including this one.

Wiss Tool Board is now posted in a brand new classified. Please give me your opinion of that post. Did I go into too much detail, do you think? I based it on my own style; I really want to see any item very clearly before I buy it; front and back.

Your opinions do matter to me.

The post looks great! I think the more pics the better. If it was Herbrand or JC-Penney I would have already paid you for it twice:)

I have an old catalogue - #51 (circa 1939) - It was my dad's and has been "used". he was a combo fitter & turner and mechanic.
The catalog has some thumbing deterioration on the first 3 -4 pages and the rear cover and last page of the index are partluy missing.
Otherwise it is in good order.

Silvo,
This is Darrin's thread, so I'll defer to him first. But if he doesn't buy it, I am interested. On the other hand, whether Darrin or I buy that catalog, I am willing to scan the entire thing for the use and enjoyment of everyone on Garage Journal. I have a special scanner at the office which does a bang-up job of that.
