I am looking for a long, six inches or so and both 1/4 and 3/8 drive, hex drive socket driver for use in my Milwaukee M12 impact. I love this thing, use it all the time, but I would rather not use a standard length socket driver, one or two inches, on it with an extension if I don't have too. I have looked for an APEX industrial type, but haven't found one. I would love it if someone could point me in the direction of a good, quality made source.

The 6” Apex with ball retention would be EX-250-B-6 for 1/4 drive and EX-370-B-6 for 3/8 drive.

Titan makes some that are wobble-plus if thats of interest.
I use the Apex with pin retention coupled to dedicated power sockets that have a pin hole, including some shallow magnetic, spring-loaded bolt clearance deep magnetic, a Snap-on 1/4 impact swivel adaptor, and 1/4 impact swivel sockets.
I also use a long 1/4+5/16 magnetic flip socket bit all the time.

I dont recommend using these kind of hex to square drive adapters other than for light duty stuff. For stronger impact applications you really need a 3/8 min or 1/2 drive square anvil. Every time i use these kind of adapters for heavier impact they twist like pretzels and snap.

I broke about 8 cheapies before buying an impact with a 3/8 anvil. Then no problems.

APEX. For what I do (usually driving lag screws) it is much simpler. If I need to remove something more difficult, I break out the 1/2" impact driver and real impact sockets.
