Hi,
I was wonder how everyone is able to get a high gloss shine on their VCT floors. I have a couple coats of sealer and a couple coats of polish on it now. The floor is shiny but does not have that supermarket-like gloss or smoothness and does not wear well.
I rented a slow speed buffer from the local big box. The pad just dulled the finish and seem to remove the polish. I may have chosen the wrong pad but it was the one recommended (white, kind of compact and rough almost like a scotch-brite pad but thicker).
Does anyone have advice or a recipe they use to get a high gloss?
Greg
