Good Evening, I am looking for a good hose torch for my propane and mapp gas cylinders with about 8ft of hose for getting into tight places. I tried the self igniting Bernzomatic from Lowes and did not like it as it would not stay on and I did not like to have to hold the trigger constantly and also the tip was not the same as a regular propane tip which I wanted but more of a blow torch. Thanks

That one has a "swirl" flame tip. It's the same as the tip on the Bernzomatic hose torch (which has a hose about 5' long).
If you want something "professional", and with an 8' hose, you're not going to get something that uses disposable cylinders, but I can say that the Bernzomatic hose torch comes with enough hose that it's comfortable to use in most any position, with the cylinder hanging from your belt.

Still, I'll reach for the prest-o-lite every time first, but that requires owning a B cylinder.

I'll have to look but I may just have a blowtorch that you can have. I have no use for it. The thing is though it uses two hoses, one for air and one for gas but it has a seperate valve for each. It was my dads that he used to use for lead work. As in body lead. The torch head itself is probably 1 1/2" in dia and maybe 6" long.
