What should I use to remove pl400 subfloor adheisive from my concrete floor before acid staining?

I did a small room with acetone, let it sit and soften, scrape with a putty knife. Didn't work very well in that you could see the residue but got it flat enough to lay tile. Fumes weren't too bad but I did need a fan.

I want to remove the residue so the acid will stain it. I want to clean it tomorrow and get the ceaner today. Does anyone know what will do this?

The one and only time I did this took a week. They sell a scraper at HD. Looks like a garden hoe, but straight. I'd loan you mine. Only used one time.

pop pop has the right idea, I removed carpet on concrete and stained. The scrapper uses a 4" straight blade that's replaceable. I rented an industrial buffer and used the green/black pads after that.
