Howdy from central New York state

Stumbled onto this site while searching for info on an older Ridgid bench vise. 2 hrs. later I know a whole lot more about vises and I'm completely hooked! I love, and seem to collect, about anything old and mechanical from cars and trucks to tractors, tools, equipment, gas pumps, jacks etc. so it didn't take long to decide to join up with you guys. Long time member of the H.A.M.B. and several tractor sites but this one is great. Looking foreward to a long and happy time here! P.S. will try to get some pics on later.

Where in CNY are you? I've lived in Syracuse as a youth (up until HS), Buffalo (college years), and Rochester (until I was about 40).

Great part of the country CNY! Finger Lakes region and Great Lakes are my favorites.
