What is everyone's opinion of the Husky 41" tool chest? I am looking for a box to replace my Sears box at work that is too small and falling apart.
Which box do you mean? I just bought the last 41" Husky box for $369.
Both bottom and top box. Ball bearing drawers. I like it. It is still in the box at the moment until the shop floor and electrical is done.
I needed another box and I like the full width drawers for the long tools.
The Husky boxes are alright for light duty use. The techs that go through the school program through our company recieve a 40" Husky box with SK tools. If you don't use the long drawers for all your sockets and heavy tools the box will probably last. Just don't expect to overload each drawer as guys do with SO, Mac and Matco boxes. They are just not made the same.
How deep is this box? I was looking at it at my local HD and I thought it was only 16" or 18" deep.
