HVAC Introductory manual

Could someone here recommend an HVAC Introductory manual. I know practically nothing about HVAC (except for pumping some AC Pro in my truck's low pressure line, lol).

As my old man liked to tell me: "What you don't know could fill an encyclopedia set".

You could learn a lot watching this guy's videos. Very good teacher.

He also wrote a book. I have not read it.

Think you will find there is no "one book" .....

Designing ductwork will fill one -- that's why most systems have bad ductwork ... and they go down hill from there.

Just ask the questions you want to know the answers to and you'll learn and retain the information because it's relevant to something you're looking at.
