Not sure of the model of toolbox but I have pictures I just need to know is there any way from Snap-on or any other dealer to get a hold of replacement ball bearing slides or if not a place to replace the regular slides that come in the toolbox just inherited this tool box sorry I know it's a mess

I need help trying to restore an old Snap-on tool box

At the upper right portion on the back of the box find the model, serial number and date. It’ll be stamped and a bit tricky to find, a flashlight held at a low angle can help.
Call snapon with this information and tell them what parts you need, slides casters, etc.
They may replace them all under warranty since it’s your dad’s box, just know that they are being more strict in applying their warranty terms to the original owner.
There is no easy path to ball bearing slides.

That setup is from the 1970s. There should be a model number on the back lower corner somewhere. It can be hard to see because of the paint at times so look closely.
Snap-On will mail you replacement slides for free. If you cannot find the model number, they will ask for a part number off the slides.
It may not look like it, but restoring those boxes is a lot of work if you plan on doing it to a high standard of quality.

X2 - I've restored several and from learning the hard way, have sworn, "Never again!" There are a zillion square inches of sheet metal and four ziliion corners.It may not look like it, but restoring those boxes is a lot of work if you plan on doing it to a high standard of quality.
Wipe it down with WD40 and live with it for a while. Since it's an inheritance, convince yourself you're conserving the patina.
