Just a heads, these are no longer made in USA - classic Harbor Freight bait-and-switch, they even covered up the Made in USA flag on their product packaging - also they are on sale for ITC members for $49 this week for obvious reasons

The non USA ones aren't even the same as the USA made ones as the beginning of the thread. The only thing in common is Icon 6 piece set.

I suspect the Icon USA made set is no more. I bought a 9 or 12 piece set of them that were on clearance and then also got the a 30% off of them with a coupon so they were very reasonably priced. I haven't seen them in store in months.

I honestly don't know why I bought them other than they were on sale and it was an impulse purchase. I seldom use snap ring pliers and I've had 3-4 pliers already from Lisle that have served my needs for the past 30 years. I guess now I'm covered for anything.

The Icons are the ones that are a 1/4 turn fastener to change position. I personally like the ones I already had better that were a threaded fastener. The threaded ones are just as easily flipped and seem more stout for a snap ring plier.
