Identification Assistance Vintage Snap On "Socket" HELP PLEASE 🙏

Found this vintage snap on "socket" but I have never seen before and there is nothing online. Has TMC-154-213 inscribed in the side, 1/4 Drive.

Can anyone tell me exactly what this is and how old?

I have no idea.

My guess is an adjusting tool some some brand of obsolete cars. Perhaps for the brakes, brake cable or a tensioner.

Yup, agree with Mintgrun. The TMC stuff I found In Catalogs all seem to be carb tools, Jet removers etc, so his response fits with what little I can find.
