Identify this lift?

I have a lead on a cheap vehicle lift. Can anyone identify it? Is it worth purchasing for a few hundred bucks? Is it safe?Iit has no markings on it other than the gearbox which was made in England. Dual lifting screws powered by a single electric motor with chain connecting both sides under a floor plate. Everything works and it appears to be very heavy duty steel construction.
