Illumination!

I definitely need an adjustable high intensity light to shine on my welding area. To many times I've tried to get by, but my welding experience is limited and developing, so I need more targeted lighting. Thinking of getting some sort of flexible neck device with a high output LED light on the end. What is everyone else using? Oh, I use a Miller MIG welder and Miller Digital Elite helmet.

This is my preferred method of task lighting in the shop:



I have several variations of the basic swing-arm lamp throughout my shop.
They are inexpensive and easy to mount or move (most of mine utilize a clamp mount, as shown in the picture, athough two of them use permanent mounts screwed to the work surface). They can utilize a wide variety of lighting options (incandescent or LED).

Even with my fading eyesight I have found that the available high-intensity LED bulbs are more than adequate, providing plenty of light with very little heat.

I've got 4ft LEDs on my shop ceiling which are kinda weak. I need extra lighting when I'm welding too. I've been happy with this mag base gooseneck. It's a fairly focused beam, which is exactly what I want, the switchable magnet power is strong and the gooseneck lets me get it aimed right where I'm welding. Might not be as good if you want to illuminate a larger area.
