Information/value on Cummins Onan EFI GENERATOR

Just seeking information on if a Cummins onan EFI (7HGJAD-6760) is a good generator? It is a 7,000 watt generator and has 400 hours. Just seeing if anyone has input on how good of a generator or is and what is it’s value? Any help is much appreciated

Onan and Cummins have been together forever. Parts are usually available if expensive. You are going to need to call a genset tech to look it over if you don’t know what to look for. Lots of guys get screwed over with junk gensets and don’t know until it’s too late during an emergency

Cummins bought Onan Probably twenty or thirty years ago.

The Cummins A series Diesel engines are derivatives of a circa 1970 ish Onan design.

I am surprised to see that it has a Gasoline powered engine.

Why not buy a Honda instead?

I happened to remove this out of the back of a work truck, took it on trade. Looks like it cost a lot new. Seems like a solid generator.
