Hello everyone,
I'm trying to install an analog speedometer as seen in cars/motorcycles on my mountain bike; just a little project I'm working on. Basically, I found a universal motorcycle odometer/speedometer on Amazon.
Now, I will be riding at night as well and the speedometer does have 2 cables running from the back. It says that it requires DC 12V. Would I be able to just use a 12v battery pack for that and solder the 2 wires to the battery pack?
Or is DC 12V something different? Sorry, I'm a newbie when it comes to electronics.
Cheers, George
