I have an opportunity to get some panels that are made out of the same material garage door panels are made out of. They have metal on both sides and foam in the middle. Has anyone ever used them as interior panels rather than exterior panels. Was planning on eventually insulating garage and adding some form of metal panel but not right away. Was thinking that these panels would basically kill two birds with one stone. Was thinking they would provide insulation, provide some fire resistance, be easy to clean and make the interior brighter. Is there any reason why these panels couldn't or shouldn't be used for this purpose? I have looked all over the internet but I have not seen anyone try to use panels like this on the inside of there garage.
