Jack or anyone else that can help me,
I am new to racing and I would like to make my own videos for myself with the data logger information with the mph and track map.
What type of data logger is easy to use and what kind of software do I need to put in into a video? Also, how do you put picture in a picture video?

Any suggestions are welcome.
Thank you,
Kenny

All my information on data loggers is out of date because I got mine so long ago.

But a Traqmate system might be the easiest and most cost-effective way to go at this point. That's a guess, though. If you want to start some research for what's available right now, here's a list of stuff to Google:

ChaseCam, ContourGPS, Contour+, Garmin, AiM, MoTeC, RaceLogic DriftBox / PerformanceBox, Traqmate, Race Technologies DL1, Racepak G2X, RLC, XT Racing, Harry's Lap Timer, Qstarz, Holux, Aeris CompuMask, HP Tuners, STACK, Starlane, Paralog, FlySight, DashDAQ.

A dedicated data recorder is at least a $700 option, I think. But there might be GPS-based smartphone approaches that would come close to that, and cost very little.

Hopefully, some other racers will see this and offer some suggestions.
