Interior garage paint question (chimney)

Our garage shares the wall for our wood burning fireplace. We have since installed a wood burning fireplace insert with the liner going up the chimney. I am planning on painting the interior walls of the garage after adding OSB over existing insulation last fall. I would like to paint the exposed cinder block fireplace to match the rest of the garage. Has anyone else painted their chimney/fireplace if it's inside their garage?

I haven't painted a chimney inside a fireplace, but have painted thousands of feet of cinder block. Use something like Sherwin Williams Loxon Acrylic conditioner followed by your 2 finish coats in your choice of paint and you'll be good.
