Hi all
I currently have a single garage with a "ribbed" floor.
I am looking for something to put on the floor to make things a bit cleaner and more pleasent in the winter.
I have been looking at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/96-SQ-FT-ANTI-FATIGUE-FLOOR-MATS-GARAGE-EXCERCISE-PLAY-/190425929582?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Flooring&hash=item2c5645176e
I like them because;
they're cheap(ish)
I can lift out a few tiles when welding etc.
they should insulate a little

Has anyone used these? how do they fare up to heavy stuff and oily stuff?
Can I lay the lot but not glue it down as I want to be able to expose the concrete when drilling/grinding/welding. How will these hold up to sparks/molten metal that can not be avoided?
Also would I need to lay a ply base to level it out of would this be suitable where the concrete is ribbed? By ribbed I think that they used the technique where they smooth out the concrete and then use a chopping motion with a board to get the surface texture.

Please advise.
