Hey all,

I found this forum while searching for epoxy options. I think I'm set on doing a metallic system in my garage. The house will be done building a bit over a month from now and this will be the very first thing I do when we move in.

EDIT -

Looks like I kinda botched this first post attempt. So... Let's try again.

I'm a moving into a new home that is still being built in the Pac NW. Should be done in about a month. I have a 1,000 sq/ft garage that I'd like to epoxy and would prefer a metallic system. I understand I'll need primer, epoxy, pigment and urethane topcoat. I'm a bit price conscious because everything seems to be costing a ton with this new house.

Garage will be mostly just for a car garage. I'll have a section of it as a woodshop but nothing crazy. Just want a nice looking floor that will last.

I was curious if anyone has used the epoxyplus website for product. I'm not associated with them at all, just want to check others experiences. I'm open to suggestions as well.

Thanks!

So far, the lowest I've seen priced out through websites has been epoxyplus.com. I'm doing a 1000 sq/ft area so even minor price differences seem to add up a lot in the long run when everything is tallied with shipping, taxes, all items, etc.

I know they aren't a sponsored vendor here but has anyone used theirs? Pros / cons between other systems?

Thanks!

Great to have you on the forum. To my knowledge they do not charge anyone, vendor or manufacturer to be here. They do a great job of moderating the forum and making sure people are not posing as customer. Those of us as manufacturers say who we are and there are many customers like you who come here looking for advice.

The best advice I can give you is consider your purpose for being on the forum and then state it clearly so you can be helped. If you are coating a garage floor, tell us a bit more about the project. Some people find its best to delete their first post and start over too. It all just depends

How many square feet is your project?
What condition is the floor in?
What do you do in your garage?
Where are you located?

Hey, thanks for the quick reply. Didn't mean to come across as a shill. I'm a homeowner and my house will be finished in about a month. The thing I regret most in my last house was not tackling the garage first and then consequently never getting around to it.

The garage is 1,000 sq/ft. It'll mostly just be used as a normal car garage, but a section of it will be a wood shop.

Again, didn't mean anything about the vendor comment. I'd love to use a vendor from here because you all seem extremely helpful. I'm just in the pricing out phase and the referenced website seemed to be okay - just wondering if people had had good luck with them.

Thanks,

Edit - Oh, I'm in Washington state!
