Introduction

Hello Folks,
I am new to this forum and want to say hello to everyone here. I am going to be building a hobby restoration shop soon and a friend of mine said I could find some good ideas on this forum. I hope to maybe ask some questions along the way and ask you all your opinion on my ideas. With that being said let this thread begin!! I am going to build a 40x60 and put two doors in the 40 ft. end and a paint/wash booth in the back corner with that room being around 16x27. Do you guys have any advice or suggestions on where to put a two post lift? I'm thinking about putting it on the same side as the booth just inside the big roll up door.

WWG: this introduction section isn't the best place to ask your questions cause not a lot of members even know it exists or make the time to check on it. it's a great place to post stuff about yourself and maybe a few pictures so those of us that do see it get to know a bit about YOU.

that said i would go in Garage gallery and start looking at garages that are maybe close to the same size and see if you can see pictures of what you are looking for. if you don't see any pictures in those threads then ask your questions maybe about how that member planned his garage/shop and i bet you'll get some answers.

in the meantime i hope you'll enjoy the reading and getting to know us.
