Is 'recoating' an option after 9 months?

Last winter we went through a process of grinding the shop floor and using Legacy's Standard Epoxy Primer/Coating. We two-coated it and I could not be happier but the concrete had a very rough surface to begin with, and I would like to add another two coats of epoxy to what is there. Before I call Scotty, is this even possible now without going thru the grinding process? (The surface finish does not have any chips or flaking, -I'm just wanting to add another coat or two to smooth the floor even more. )

Yes you can. You first need to degloss the finish by roughing it up with sandpaper. Based on the size of your floor, a floor maintainer with a sanding screen or malish brush would do it fairly quick. It's not nearly the work of grinding a floor. Just give Scotty a call and he will tell you what to do for their product.
