Is this vintage drill case missing drawers?

I have been arguing with a friend about this old drill case from my father's machine shop. He says that there are drawers missing, but I think several slots were left open so that you could adjust the shelves up and down if you had somthing in the case that was a bit larger. Any thoughts? Does anyone know the brand of the case? That might help me research it.

Yup, missing drawers. Zooming in on the case with a clear picture might help. Looks like the Loch Ness monster, or maybe Bigfoot, or possibly a UFO

I'm thinking it was originally made for something else and repurposed into a drill cabinet.

What are the cabinet and drawer dimensions?

Are the drawers on rails or do they just slide in?

More pictures please..

The draws just slide in. 10 x 11.5 x 11.5. My father owned a machine shop, and sadly he has passed on and I am organizing and selling some items from the shop.

Looks like there are drawers missing , but it may be on purpose.

looks like some items are taller than the drawer is deep, so he may have left drawers out

Thanks for the new photos. I'm even more convinced that it was not originally a drill cabinet.
