We own a flooring store and we've been very successful selling these products for residential use. They are essentially a cushioned pvc/fiberglass based sheet vinyl floor that can be installed with pressure sensitive adhesive, double sided acrylic duct tape, or loose laid. I'm a very big fan of the product and I was considering using it in my garage. To my knowledge, the manufacturer told me that you could use it in a garage, but the tires might yellow it. I know a lot about the product and am considering using it, but I have yet to come across a person who's actually tried it in a garage. It's very stain resistant and you can even use bleach on the product. I know the manufacturer doesn't warrant this product against oil spills and the like, but with my experience, it seems like everything we've spilled on it comes right up, but I haven't tried motor oil yet. I was wondering if anyone has used this product in their garage/workshop area yet? I might be the guinea pig for this and if it works well, it might be a good fairly inexpensive alternative to VCT and or racedeck applications without the hassel of single tiles moving around the floor and what not. Any thoughts?
