typo: in the title: should be "Methodology"!:)

4 new projects after my custom tool cart in the general tool thread, which started as a replacement for a cheapie Blue Point/S-O tool cart, and became this crazy heavy cart.

I'm thinking of making two more carts of an improved design. Lower and slightly wider than the tool cart I made. I think the ALbion casters which are good will have to be sacrificed to Bassicks HD line. Just thinking.

A fabricating / workshop / assembly table -- this will be purpose built so that every tool has a place (a lot of bar stock work and snap ring groove assembly work here).

A dining room table.

I want to make these so overbuilt in some sense (the jackass part) without going over the top.

I'd love to do 2 x 2 sq. tubing for dining room table legs and some sort of span of 2 x 4 tubing for the top with 1/2 rolled steel. Stainless would be brilliant but bankrupt me:) Maybe just really grind and polish the hell out of it and do a clear coat. Sort of industrial aesthetic meets nice china/silverware for the holidays.

A man can dream about being a jackass fabricator, can't he?:bounce::rocker:
