Jack guys: I need a little help

[JUNK-MAN]

For many years my old jack has served me well but recently it started leaking down after the 3rd pump and blowing oil put the push rod. I replaced the "O" ring and replaced all the old oil with power steering fluid then bled the air, sane problem! Any ideas on what's wrong? Thanks

Maybe the main ram seal? Have you read the sticky on jacks?

I am surprised you are putting any time into a trolley jack. Those things are so cheap to begin with.

Yep that looks exactly like a torin..40 bucks at the parts store.

Your jack may be a good one to learn on, but in general best to get a better jack for the long term.

Yeah, I knew a guy who had a jack like that.....when it started leaking he junked it.
